01 / ABOUT HEAD & CAP
Not another blank cap supplier.
SHAPEDesigned for balance, fit and distinction.
FABRICCarefully selected for performance and feel.
BRANDINGPrecise execution that represents your brand.
PRODUCTIONBuilt to last with clean construction and care.
Your brand deserves its own product.
Head & Cap is a Polish custom cap and headwear manufacturer based in Łódź — a city shaped by generations of textile craftsmanship and manufacturing tradition. We develop caps from the ground up for fashion, lifestyle and performance brands, combining hands-on product development, technical specifications, sampling and contract manufacturing in Poland.
Shape, crown profile, panel construction, fabric, colour, visor, closure, sweatband, branding and finishing are never simply selected from a warehouse shelf. They are developed as one coherent product around your brand, your requirements and the way the finished cap should look, fit and perform.
We believe there is still a place for products made with care in a world dominated by fast fashion, standardisation and disposable mass production. Our focus is on quality that can be seen and felt — balanced proportions, carefully selected materials, precise embroidery, clean construction and finishing designed to stand the test of time.
Being based in Łódź keeps us close to production and to the people behind it. We value responsible manufacturing, good working conditions and long-term relationships with the specialists involved in creating our products. The same expectations extend to the European suppliers and partners we work with, particularly when it comes to material quality, consistency and responsible sourcing.
For us, sustainability is not a separate marketing feature. It starts with making better products, choosing materials carefully and creating headwear that is meant to be worn for years rather than replaced after a season.
Our goal is simple: to help brands create distinctive custom headwear with a clear identity, transparent origin and production-ready specifications. We develop baseball caps, dad caps, snapbacks, trucker caps, 5-panel caps, running caps, performance caps, bucket hats, trapper hats and sun visors for brands looking for flexible private-label manufacturing in Europe.
02 / CAPABILITIES
One partner. Every detail.
Built around the product, not the blank.
Shape, construction, materials and finishing are developed as one product. Each decision is matched to the intended fit, appearance and use of the cap — from soft lifestyle headwear to lightweight technical performance styles.
01
Shape & construction
Crown height, panel geometry, visor shape, structure and fit are developed around the intended style and use of the cap. Construction can range from soft, low-profile and unstructured shapes to defined baseball, snapback and performance silhouettes.
02
Fabrics & material performance
Cotton twills and canvases provide natural hand-feel, breathability and structure, with GOTS organic cotton available for certified organic projects. Polyester suits lightweight, quick-drying performance caps; nylon combines low weight with durability; water-resistant or waterproof technical textiles add protection for outdoor use. OEKO-TEX certified options can be sourced to project requirements.
03
Branding & application
Flat and dimensional embroidery, woven patches and other branding techniques are selected to suit the fabric, panel construction and intended visual effect. Placement is developed around seams, crown geometry and visor position so the branding feels integrated into the cap rather than added afterwards.
04
Private-label components & finishing
Sweatbands, closures, inside and woven labels, trims, metal hardware and packaging can be customised as part of a private-label product. These components are specified together with stitching and finishing details so the inside and outside of the cap follow the same product standard.
03 / PRODUCT DETAILS
Designed in the details.
A cap earns its identity in the millimetres.
Crown proportion, panel geometry, visor construction, stitch placement, fabric behaviour, embroidery position, trims and labels are where custom headwear stops feeling generic and starts feeling proprietary.
Each project moves through a defined development and ordering process — from the first enquiry and feasibility review to sampling, approval, quotation, material planning, production release, delivery and repeat orders.
01Project enquiry
Send us your design, reference cap, sketch, existing sample or tech pack together with the expected quantity, branding requirements and project timing.
02Feasibility review
We review the project before sampling to confirm what is technically achievable, identify construction constraints and define the most appropriate development route.
03Sampling
A physical development sample is prepared so shape, fit, proportions and overall execution can be evaluated before bulk production.
04Approval & specification
Once the sample is approved, the agreed measurements, materials, construction details and branding positions become the reference for bulk manufacturing. See our production-ready tech pack.
05MOQ & quotation
Final pricing and minimum quantities are confirmed according to the approved project, required materials, custom components, branding complexity and production volume.
06Material booking & planning
After approval, required materials and components are secured and the order is scheduled for production. Lead time is confirmed against availability and the agreed manufacturing scope.
07Production release
Once the project, materials and production plan are confirmed, the order is released for manufacturing with the agreed specification as the production reference.
08Delivery & repeat orders
Approved products are packed and prepared for delivery. Production specifications are retained for repeat orders so future runs can follow the same fit, construction and branding standard.
05 / PRODUCTION
From cut components to finished headwear.
01
Fabric inspection & preparation
Fabrics are inspected for colour, surface, weight and consistency before production. Depending on the material, they are prepared and stabilised so they behave correctly during cutting, embroidery and sewing.
02
Cutting & panel preparation
Crown panels, visor pieces and internal components are cut to the production pattern. Grain direction, symmetry and panel positioning are controlled to keep the cap shape balanced and consistent.
03
Embroidery & applications
We develop our own embroidery programs for each project, translating the client’s artwork and expectations into precise stitch files. Density, stitch direction, scale and placement are refined for the selected fabric and cap construction to achieve the cleanest, most precise result possible. Patches and other applications receive the same attention to detail.
04
Sewing & assembly
Panels are joined and the visor, sweatband, closure, labels and trims are assembled into the finished cap. Stitching, seam alignment and component positioning are controlled throughout sewing.
05
Shaping, finishing & inspection
Finished caps are shaped, cleaned and prepared for packing. Construction, symmetry, stitching, embroidery and overall finish are inspected before the product leaves production.

07 / CAP TYPES
Cap types we manufacture.
Head & Cap develops custom caps and headwear in Łódź, Poland for fashion, lifestyle, sport and performance brands. Every style can be adapted in shape, fabric, construction, closure and branding — turning a familiar cap type into a product that is unmistakably your own.
Dad cap
PROFILE/ LOWCROWN/ SOFTVISOR/ CURVED
Relaxed by appearance, precise underneath. A custom dad cap pairs a low-profile unstructured crown with a curved visor, making washed cottons, soft twills, subtle embroidery and private-label finishing feel naturally premium.
Baseball cap
BUILD/ 5–6 PANELPROFILE/ CUSTOMVISOR/ CURVED OR FLAT
The most versatile foundation in custom cap manufacturing. We develop 5- and 6-panel baseball caps around crown height, panel geometry, visor shape, fabric weight and fit, giving brands precise control over silhouette and identity.
Snapback
CROWN/ STRUCTUREDVISOR/ DEFINEDCLOSURE/ SNAP
A sharper silhouette built for visible branding. Structured snapback caps combine a defined crown with adjustable closure and work especially well with dimensional embroidery, patches and statement front logos.
Floppy cap
STRUCTURE/ UNSTRUCTUREDFEEL/ SOFTFIT/ RELAXED
Soft, unstructured and intentionally relaxed. The floppy cap follows the head instead of holding a rigid crown, creating an easy fit for fashion and lifestyle collections seeking a less formal alternative to classic baseball construction.
5-panel cap
FRONT/ CLEANPROFILE/ LOW–MIDBRANDING/ HIGH IMPACT
Clean front geometry gives the custom 5-panel cap an excellent canvas for embroidery, print and patches. Panel depth, visor length, materials and closure can shift the same construction from technical outdoor to refined streetwear.
A 360° brim turns the bucket hat into a larger surface for fabric, colour and branding. Custom materials, embroidery, woven labels, prints and contrast details make it suited to fashion, lifestyle and limited-edition headwear.
Sport cap
WEIGHT/ LIGHTFIT/ SECUREUSE/ ACTIVE
Built around movement and everyday function. Lightweight fabrics, secure fit, ventilation and practical adjustment can be tuned for training, teamwear, outdoor and active collections without losing the visual language of the brand.
Performance cap
FABRIC/ TECHNICALVENTILATION/ ENGINEEREDFUNCTION/ HIGH
Technical headwear where function is engineered into the product. Breathable fabrics, ventilation zones, low-weight construction and functional closures support demanding use while preserving precise colour and private-label branding.
Running cap
WEIGHT/ ULTRALIGHTBREATHABILITY/ HIGHFIT/ STABLE
Ultralight construction, airflow and a stable fit define a good running cap. Performance fabrics and carefully positioned branding create headwear for running, endurance and outdoor collections that needs to work at pace.
Trucker cap
FRONT/ DEFINEDBACK/ MESHAIRFLOW/ OPEN
A solid branding front meets breathable mesh at the back. Foam or fabric panels, mesh density, visor shape, snap closure, embroidery and patches can all be adapted to build a distinctive custom trucker cap.
Trapper hat
COVERAGE/ FULLWARMTH/ INSULATEDUSE/ OUTDOOR
Cold-weather headwear designed around coverage and insulation. A custom trapper hat can combine protective ear flaps, warm lining, technical or woven outer fabrics and branded details for winter, outdoor and workwear collections.
Sun visor
VISOR/ WIDEFIT/ ADJUSTABLEUSE/ SUN PROTECTION
Open-crown protection for sport and summer collections. Custom sun visors can be developed around visor width, fit, adjustment, fabric and branding for tennis, golf, resort, events and active use.
